Deep Play at the End of the World
4-Part 2023 Online Masterclass Series
Are you looking to incorporate relational neuroscience to your constellation facilitation? Whether you are brand new to constellations or a seasoned facilitator, this 4-part masterclass series will help you deepen your learning about constellations while building facilitation skills.
The 2023 Online Constellation Masterclass Series:
Deep Play At The End of The World
We are living in a time where there is so much dread and sense of threat, from climate to pandemic to political issues at every turn – this shows up in our clients as greater levels of anxiety, depression, loss of meaning and purpose, and dissociation – AND we are living in a time of wonder, discovery, innovation, and access to healing that has never before been available to humans. How do we take both poles of experience and integrate them in our beloved and beleaguered bodies? Constellations can help us, especially when we understand the relational neuroscience of accompaniment and resonance. This series explores the best approaches to leverage constellations for healing at such a complex time.
Join Sarah Peyton for a Masterclass Series. Each in the series will combine Constellation Work with explorations in Relational Neuroscience and Resonant Language. Each online Masterclass is an intensive that stretches over 4 calendar days, meeting for 5-6 hours each day.
Constellations facilitated by Sarah will alternate with Constellations facilitated by Masterclass participants, interspersed with large and small group learning. Both being a facilitator and being a seeker happen by lottery. Only experienced participants who have attended at least one other master series session with Sarah will be eligible to be facilitators. Not all participants will have a chance to be a seeker or a facilitator. The intention of the course is to deepen our learning about constellations, rather than supporting personal work.
Participants will:
- Work in small groups to build facilitation skills
- Learn the ways that constellation work can support well-being during turbulent and difficult times
- Explore working with big emotions, including hopelessness, alarmed aloneness, and the healing of big and little traumas
- Understand and integrate the elements of relational neuroscience that illuminate these aspects of constellation work
- Integrate understandings of neuroscience into constellation work
- Work on specific aspects of facilitation that can be troublesome or mysterious
This event series includes three parts: Part 1: February 3-6, 2023: How to Lighten the Chasm, Part 2: April 20-23, 2023: Astrology and Constellations with the Goddesses of Life and Death, and Part 3: July 20-July 23, 2023: Constellating the Traumas that Knock People Flat, Part 4: November 16-19, 2023: Integrating the Void of Alarmed Aloneness

This Online Series Includes Four Events:
How to Lighten the Chasm: Constellation Masterclass with Sarah Peyton
How do we hold and support our clients when they bring us their sense of meaninglessness, helplessness or futility in the face of collective trauma, systemic oppression and/or the climate crisis? How do we identify and support depression, and differentiate personal anxiety and depression from the systemic? What can neuroscience tell us about this aspect of constellation work, and how can constellations help us and our clients during this time in the world’s history? And how can constellations create opportunities to support our clients to engage with and enjoy life and nurture the enormous love they have for the world and the people around them.
Constellations are a way of unwinding and unraveling the frozen strands of trauma and buried nervous-system vows from our essential beings, so that we can flourish, live, and contribute our gifts with ease.
This is part 1 of a 4-part constellation masterclass series: Deep Play at the End of the World. This year’s masterclass series will explore how we can leverage our constellation work for healing at a time of immense complexity where we and our clients face intense stressors from climate crisis to pandemic to political issues. How can our constellation work allow for more joy, more wonder, more play and more life satisfaction, even in the face of grief and threat? Join Sarah Peyton for this exploration of what neuroscience and constellations can do for us.
You are welcome to register for any of the four individual events in the 4-part series, however, registering for the full 4-Part Immersion might be a good fit if you’d like to learn to use constellations in your work or your life, as well as receive access to the bonus and savings.
Session 1: February 3-6, 2023
What to Expect:
Over this 4-day immersion week participants will:
- Understand collective trauma and its impacts on people’s sense of meaning, energy, and agency
- Learn to differentiate personal experiences from systemic and how to use constellations to acknowledge and transform anxiety and depression
- Investigate the relationship between constellations, metaphor, and how to capture and reflect enormity so that healing and integration are the result
Astrology and Constellations with the Goddesses of Life and Death: Constellation Masterclass with Sarah Peyton
How do we picture ourselves? How do we understand our story, and how do we tell our story to others?
The symbolic language of the astrological horoscope tells a story of a time, a place, a constellation of energies in nature, our nature our arrival and our adaptation to Here. The practice of constellations – symbolic imaging of story in physical time and space – opens dynamic awareness of our story and its relation to others. While the symbolic language of astrology has its roots in ancient Near East Asian and Western mythology, symbols are a timeless language. As we evolve, so does our language. As we contact other cultures, new archetypes emerge that grow our understanding of the whole human culture, and our story within it.
Working in concert with Jungian astrologer Carol Ferris, the constellations in this session will take as their starting point several elements from the birth horoscope of the client, including and especially the emergent feminine archetypes: Sedna, from the Inuit culture; and Lilith, from first the early Sumerian culture, then brought forward in sacred and civil texts. Together, these women bring us a new understanding of patriarchy and planetary crisis in our personal and our collective lives. The constellations will integrate Carol’s understanding of the archetypal interplay with the movement of the constellation representatives.
In the 2022 series, Sarah and Carol worked in collaboration in this way, and the healing and integration were so extraordinary that there was a group request to bring Carol for another year.
All participants in this session will have a natal chart and initial personal reading with Carol prior to the constellation session, so you each have a sense of the individual archetypal elements for the mini-constellation breakouts. If you are experienced in astrology; already have your birth chart; or do not wish to have a chart and reading done, please apply for a discount in the price of this session.
This is part 2 of a 4-part constellation masterclass series: Deep Play at the End of the World. Session 2: April 20-23, 2023
What to Expect:
Over this 4-day immersion week participants will:
- Learn about the mythology of Sedna and Lilith and what they teach us about power and creation
- Investigate the influence and impact of patriarchy through the lense of Jungian astrology and archetypal energies
- Experiment with the integration of ritual and emergent constellations through the use of pre-set representatives from clients’ natal charts
- Explore the convergence of the ideas of relational neuroscience with ideas about mythology and astrology
Constellating the Traumas that Knock People Flat: Constellation Masterclass with Sarah Peyton
How do we support healing when trauma is a constant undertow? What do we do when a client’s trauma has a magnitude so great that it has never successfully been held before? What do we do with significant deaths, the impact of addiction, high levels of abuse and neglect, or longer-term experiences that have resulted in health and energy impacts for clients? How do we help our clients to navigate the complex relationships with their perpetrators?
This workshop will focus on the importance of the client’s consent and how to have consent honored in our facilitation practice. What do we do to find the right way to work in accordance with the client’s consent? This session will explore the possibilities that neuroscience and constellations can offer us in working with magnitude and scale of trauma and pain for our clients.
This is part 3 of a 4-part constellation masterclass series: Deep Play at the End of the World. This year’s masterclass series will explore how we can leverage our constellation work for healing at a time of immense complexity where we and our clients face intense stressors from climate crisis to pandemic to political issues. Session 3: July 20-23, 2023
What to Expect:
Over this 4-day immersion week participants will:
- Explore the impact of emergent constellations on the effects of massive trauma
- Take away a sense of the leverage that relational neuroscience offers our healing efforts
- Learn the scaffolding and support that careful work with consent brings to our clients
Integrating the Void of Alarmed Aloneness: Constellation Masterclass with Sarah Peyton
How do we constellate and support healing from alarmed aloneness (the shock and grief that arise when someone important to us disappears, or when we find ourselves too alone in our lives)? How is alarmed aloneness connected with our clients’ sense of the Void – the deep unknown that is part of the implicit of every human? What are the roles of Play and Joy in embracing the universal human experiences of loneliness and separation? How do we let constellations guide us into the paradox of being apart and coming together? Neuroscience and Panksepp’s Circuit of Emotion and Motivation will play a role in leveraging constellations to support clients who bring questions of aloneness to us for healing.
This is part 4 of a 4-part constellation masterclass series: Deep Play at the End of the World. This year’s masterclass series will explore how we can leverage our constellation work for healing at a time of immense complexity where we and our clients face intense stressors from climate crisis to pandemic to political issues. Session 4: November 16-19, 2023
What to Expect:
Over this 4-day immersion week participants will:
- Learn the interrelationship of the Circuits of Emotion and Motivation and how alarmed aloneness can be exacerbated and helped by the interactions of the different circuits
- Take away a sense of a path toward accompaniment of our own deepest loneliness’s, which then helps us to accompany and support our clients
- Expand the use of unconscious contracts to provide openings for healing for experiences of grief, shame, and experiences of abandonment

What To Expect:
Each day we alternate between short lectures on neuroscience and constellation concepts with mini-constellations to explore and practice the concepts, and then we do large group constellations. If you’re a visual learner you can imagine small islands of didactic learning, surrounded by slightly larger islands of small-group learning, and then interspersed with large, full-group constellations. Small group work will be done in small groups or dyads via breakout groups on zoom.
The large group constellations are alternately facilitated by Sarah and by student constellators (participants in the masterclass series) with Sarah's support. Both being a facilitator and being a seeker happen by lottery, with weight given to the number of sessions attended, thus not all participants will have a chance to be a seeker or a facilitator.
The intention for this series is to deepen our learning about constellations, rather than supporting personal work.
