The Company processes personal data as a Controller, as defined by the European Union’s General SData Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Company may use both persistent and session cookies; persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your session and until you delete them, while session cookies expire when you close your browser. However, disabling this function may diminish your experience on the websites and some features may not work as intended. The Company reserves the right to use technological equivalents of cookies, including social media pixels. These pixels allow social media sites to track visitors to outside websites so as to tailor advertising messages users see while visiting that social media website. The Company reserves the right to use these pixels in compliance with the policies of the various social media sites.

Additional Information We Collect

In an effort to provide you with the best experience possible while consuming and using our content, websites, Social Media Sites, and other Sites, we may also collect the following:

Name and email address so we can send our emails, offers, and free resources to you. Your affirmative consent will be obtained through our contact data collection forms if you choose to sign up.

Names and email addresses are also collected when you create an account so that you can purchase courses and webinars and access files you’ve purchased or received access to.  When you make a purchase, you may receive communications regarding webinars, recordings, in-person or virtual courses you have signed up for.

Billing information including name, address, and credit card information so we can process payments required to deliver our services and products to you.  

Information necessary to respond to questions submitted on our websites, Members Discussions,  Social Media Sites, and other Sites.

In some cases, we may collect your phone number for communication about an event or offer which requires a phone number. (We do not sell, rent, or lease your data to third parties.)

Any information (“Personal Information”) listed above will be voluntarily provided by you. By giving us this information you are providing consent for us to collect and use this data. We will never sell or share any of your data.

Please note if you do not consent by providing Personal Information, you may be unable to participate on our websites or use certain forms of content.

Email Policies

We are committed to keeping your e-mail address confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease our subscription lists to third parties, and will not disclose your email address to any third parties except as allowed in the section titled Disclosure of Your Information.

We will maintain the information you send via e-mail in accordance with applicable federal law.

In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, all e-mails sent from our organization will clearly state who the e-mail is from and provide clear information on how to contact the sender. In addition, all e-mail messages will also contain concise information on how to remove yourself from our mailing list so that you receive no further e-mail communication from us.

Our emails provide users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us and our partners by reading the unsubscribe instructions located at the bottom of any e-mail they receive from us at anytime.

Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the e-mail.

If you opt-in on any of our websites to receive any free resources, participate in any free training programs, register for a webinar, register for a live event, register for a seminar, or purchase any products sold by the Company on this Website, we will only enroll you to receive our free email newsletter if you affirmatively consent to it.

If you do not wish to receive this newsletter, you can unsubscribe anytime. We include an “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every marketing email we send. If you ever have trouble unsubscribing, you can send an email to [email protected] requesting to unsubscribe from future emails.

How Your Information May Be Used or Shared

Personal Information:

We do not sell, trade, or rent your Personal Information with third parties without your consent. However, we may share your Personal Information with vendors and other third-party providers who are performing services for the Company. In general, the vendors and third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide for the Company.  For example, when you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery, or return a purchase, you consent to our collecting and using such personal information for that specific purpose, including by transmitting such information to our vendors (and their service providers) performing these services for the Company.

We will use your Personal Information to contact you if you have given affirmative consent to do so via enrollment in our newsletter, courses or webinars,  or other lists (i.e. newsletters, notice of events, education, and other items of interest).

We will use your Personal Information if you have an interest in hearing from us in relation to items you have given affirmative consent for such as classes, webinars, freebies, videos, and other items you have opted in for. You may receive emails related to the item or course you signed up for.

We may use your Personal Data to market to you via advertisements on Social Media platforms and create special audiences based on that data.

Non-Personal Information:

In general, we use Non-Personal Information to help us improve the Service and customize the user experience. We also aggregate Non-Personal Information in order to track trends and analyze use patterns of the Service. This Privacy Policy does not limit in any way our use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information and we reserve the right to use and disclose such Non-Personal Information to our partners, advertisers and other third parties at our sole discretion.

To maintain our websites’ quality, we may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the websites by identifying which areas of the websites are most heavily used, and to display content according to your preferences. Your IP address is the number assigned to computers connected to the Internet. This is essentially “traffic data” which cannot personally identify you, but is helpful to us for marketing purposes and for improving our services. Note that whenever you voluntarily make your Confidential Information or Other Information available for viewing by others online through this websites or its Content, it may be seen, collected and used by others, and therefore, we cannot be responsible for any unauthorized or improper use of the Confidential Information or Other Information that you voluntarily share.  When you sign up for a course or webinar, your name may be visible to other members. Additionally, if you choose to post a comment or question on a course discussion, your posted content is also visible to others within the course, including your name and any information disclosed in your comment. In the event that an email contact list is shared with the group following an in-person or virtual course, you will be given an opportunity to opt-in or out prior to it’s distribution whenever possible.

How We Protect Personal Information

We implement reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices in order to protect your Personal Information and ensure that such Personal Information is not accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.  However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such precautions. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.

Your Rights Regarding the use of your Personal Information

You have the right at any time to prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes. When we send a promotional communication to a user, the user can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail.

We manage course and webinar e-mail lists internally. If you wish to unsubscribe to updates about a specific course, or webinars you have purchased, please notify us directly at one of the above email addresses.  By doing so, you acknowledge that you may not receive course access information or links, know when recordings are available or uploaded or if there have been any changes to your course.

Links to Other websites

As part of the Service, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications, including links to contact or view the sites of other somatic empathy practitioners. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or individuals or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Service. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of third-party websites accessed by selecting a link via our Service. To the extent that you access or use the Service through or on another websites or application, then the privacy policy of that other websites or application will apply to your access or use of that site or application. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of other websites before proceeding to use them.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age in compliance with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), and our websites and its Content is directed to individuals who are at least 13 years old or older.
