In these two classes, we trace the development of contracts that can be made during traumatic moments to either never be angry, or to punish ourselves or others for getting angry, and learn how to release them. We also learn that when others’ actions cause us to break our own contracts, this can bring about rage. We connect our work with Porges’ Polyvagal Theory and practice resonant language skills to support self-connection in sympathetic activation.

This program is taught and led by NVC Certified Trainers Sarah Peyton, Peggy Smith, and Lori Delaney (who is also certified in Sarah's Practitioner of Resonant Healing Program), all of whom integrate trauma-sensitivity and relational neuroscience into their NVC teaching and practice.

The way we are responded to creates within us this ongoing prediction or expectation of how we become attached to others and whether that attachment is secure or insecure. Join Sarah Peyton for an online exploration of what our brains are doing and how to grow new, resonant fibers that move us toward earned secure attachment.

In these two classes, we continue integrating Porges’ Polyvagal Theory with the contract tool to uncover and transform patterns of dissociation, including contracts that keep us from fully entering or inhabiting the body. We bring our resonance skills to support exquisite gentleness in the face of immobilization, and track the journey from collapse to immobilization without fear, and we learn to rejoin the real life of relationships.
