Lightness When Things Are Difficult: NVC and Resonant Dialogue Skills: an 8-Week Series
April 24, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - June 12, 2023 @ 6:30 pm PDT
About the Event
Resonance transforms inner life, bringing healing to trauma and inviting you to become your most authentic self.
But how does resonance show up in your actual, real relationships?
What happens in resonant conversations, with partners, with friends, with parents, children and siblings? How do you take all you have learned about relational neuroscience and bring it out of self-to-self connection and into intimacy with others?
Sarah Peyton is here to show you how as she guides you through a course on resonance in relationships!
Over eight transformational weeks, you will:
- Learn NVC empathy and resonant language
- Understand, register and practice consent
- Practice saying no when it is hard
- Experience I-You dialogue
- Work with rupture and repair
This course will enable you to bring resonance into regular conversation, find balance after difficult moments, and feel the movement into much more intimacy in your relationships!
- Bring relational neuroscience out of the self-to-self space and into intimacy with others
- Gain the skills and strength to say no, even when it is hard
- Discover how NVC empathy and resonant language can transform your conversations
- Experience greater intimacy in all your relationships!

This Course Includes Resonant Support
Get assistant support during classes – experience resonant support from experienced practitioners when you need it during class times. Often, this work can have unexpected depth and touch on deeply held subconscious awareness and pain. Getting support when we need it most helps participants to integrate, regulate, and have a felt experience of the transformative power of resonance.
Here’s what a previous participant shared about having assistant support available during courses:
“Thank you so much for offering the in-class 1:1 support with a resonance assistant as part of the course. This opportunity has gone a long way to provide me with a personalized felt sense of the impact of this process when working with a trained and skilled person to a greater depth than I had experienced on my own. Such a gift.” ~ Dorothy
This work is not therapy and is not a substitute for therapy. If you have a sense that you would be destabilized by yourself or others speaking about difficult events, then this course may not be for you. While we hope that the processes and information that we share can be of use in your journey, we do not have the resources to support extreme psychological difficulties.
