$20.00

Are you or someone you love shy? Is there a difference between shyness and social anxiety? What about Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria, a rarely named symptom of ADHD?

Join Sarah for a 90-minute sweet celebration of the relational neuroscience of shyness, and bring respect and choice to our experiences of our own personality traits.

This is primarily a learning and neuroscience content webinar, including a small number of actionable insights and healing process work. If you are seeking healing and resonance practice opportunities, please see Sarah’s upcoming courses here

Are you or someone you love shy? Is there a difference between shyness and social anxiety? What about introversion - are shyness and introversion the same thing? What about being a highly sensitive person, how does that fit into the picture? And what about Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria, a rarely named symptom of ADHD? What can be done if you are shy and you don’t what to be? What choices do we have, and how can resonance help?

Even though researchers have found that we can be born with a shyness trait, many people feel that it’s a character flaw, rather than a gift to be acknowledged, celebrated and protected. We can also develop shyness as a result of trauma, especially if we have been humiliated, and in such cases, we need to bring resonance to our past selves to heal our trauma before we will know the degree to which our shyness is a gift or a wound. Once we heal our trauma, we get to be our true, authentic, emergently shy or outgoing selves, and enjoy the truth of our being.

This 90-minute class with Sarah Peyton will cover the relational neuroscience of shyness and encouragement, and explore some of the resonance possibilities for melting shame and healing trauma.
