- Judith Herman, M.D., renowned author, Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School; Director of Training at the Victims of Violence Program in the Department of Psychiatry at the Cambridge Health Alliance; Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association; recipient of the 1996 Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and the 2000 Woman in Science Award; founding member of the Women’s Mental Health Collective.
- Terry Marks-Tarlow, Ph.D., Author, Clinical Intuition in Psychotherapy, Awakening Clinical Intuition; Adjunct Professor, Pacifica Graduate Institute & California Institute of Integral Studies, Clinical Psychologist in private practice
- O. Fred Donaldson, Ph.D. Play specialist; internationally recognized for his ongoing research and use of play with children and animals for over fifty years; coined the term “original play” to describe his work. Author of Playing By Heart: The Vision and Practice of Belonging and Playing and For Real: Replaying The Game of Life.
- Douglas F. Watt, Ph.D. a Clinical Neuropsychologist, who returns to the Summit for this second year. Prof. Watt worked personally with Jaak Panskepp, who pioneered the field of affective neuroscience, and will talk about their research into the neuroscience of empathy.
- Sarah Peyton, an author, constellations facilitator, Nonviolent Communication Trainer and neuroscience educator integrates constellations, brain science and the use of resonant language to heal trauma with exquisite gentleness
