This teleseminar is fueled by Sarah’s curiosity about what the hippocampus is doing in the memory transfer from implicit to explicit knowing that happens during depth empathy processes, as well as the role of the hippocampus in the deeply transformative experience of family constellation work. McGilchrist equates implicit knowing with the right hemisphere, yet a coherent autobiography is supposed to be located in the right hippocampus, and appears to be a beautiful expression of explicit knowing. How can we fully appreciate this organ of the brain, and what are the gifts that will come from exploring its capacities more completely? Join Sarah Peyton for this evening of research made usable and transparent for use in our Nonviolent Communication practice.
