Do anxiety and agitation flood you when the alarm clock goes off in the morning? Do you have a constant, churning tension in your belly and chest, a sense that something isn’t quite right, or is about to go horribly wrong?
This free webinar demonstrates three approaches to calming anxiety using neurobiology-informed practices and resonant language.
This struggle with anxiety is so common that it is almost the air we breathe in our industrialized world. There are personal, moral, political, global and spiritual issues overwhelming almost everyone, and yet so few of us understand why this happens, and how to rectify it.
My name is Sarah Peyton, I’m a neuroscience educator, certified trainer of Nonviolent Communication, and author of the book, Your Resonant Self: Guided Meditations and Exercises to Engage Your Brain’s Capacity for Healing. (www.YourResonantSelf.com) For as long as I can remember, I struggled with crippling depression, anxiety, and self-hatred. Using neurobiology and resonant language, I’ve healed my own savage inner critic and now travel the world giving lectures and workshops, helping people heal and thrive by combining the latest developments in neurobiology with mindfulness and the newly-emerging technology of resonant language.
I’ve received hundreds of testimonials from my workshop participants about how their PTSD, depression, anxiety, and reactive fight/flight/freeze patterns have been transformed into self-compassion and a new capacity for self-care by learning about how the human brain works and how it responds to resonant language.
Recent findings in neurobiology reveal that the way we are parented affects the way our heartbeats, how quickly our heart rate increases, how easily we shift into “fight or flight” and how long it takes to calm down again. When we receive “resonant” parenting, when we are met with warmth and understanding, resilient neurophysiological structures that handle stress well are nourished. We end up not having to mobilize as much cortisol to deal with everyday problems. We are more easily able to reach out for support – we even carry support within ourselves, rather than having to deal with it all on our own.
For those of us with anxious hearts who haven’t received resonant parenting, we need to learn self-resonance! Turning toward ourselves with empathy, having a practice of bringing a resonant response to our anxious selves, creates strength and resilience. This webinar demonstrates three approaches to calming anxiety. Using neurobiology-informed practices, including body-based resonant language self-empathy, visualization, and time-traveling into the future to pre-install resonating self-witnesses to catch us as we move into the events that we worry about or dread, this webinar is a great starting place to learn a new way to work with anxiety.

Comments for Sarahs participation – firstly it’s unbelievable how I am able to follow your words, even when you are working with another partner, and there is so much healing. Each and every webinar of yours has transformed my being in so many ways, and I am deeply grateful! My body is smelling to have support, and love. It is feeling relieved and encouraged.
