Finding Our Easy No: Boundaries and Attachment

What if saying “no” felt like love? Join Sarah and Jaya for a transformative 8-week healing course on healing attachment wounds and giving yourself the gift of ease with boundaries

Would you love to experience a “no” that flows right out of your core with grace and humor and acknowledgment and clarity?

5 Day Early Bird Special Only! $270

Would you like to have immediate and fluid access to your own edges and to know that your “no” is a gift to yourself and others?

There is a kind of “no” that arises from deep inside the body: it is clear, fluid, and unburdened. It comes not from defensiveness or fear, but from a grounded sense of self. It’s a “no” that carries warmth, a sense of humor, and a surprising kind of intimacy.

Many of us did not grow up in environments where saying “no” was welcome. As children, we may have learned that setting limits, or having clear preferences, caused anger, collapse, or emotional withdrawal from the people we depended on most. Or, we were taught that the only way to be good children was by always being compliant. Growing up in these environments, we may have become skilled at anticipating the needs of others in order to shape ourselves around what would keep things smooth, quiet, and safe. Somewhere in the process, our needs, limits, and edges began to disappear from our awareness.

This course is an invitation to gently rediscover those edges as the fertile places where we meet the world with our love. We’ll learn about the relationship between boundaries and attachment, and how our specific early experiences shaped our nervous system’s capacity to stay in connection while also holding onto our sense of self.

This eight-week workshop will be a space for slowly coming back into contact with the parts of ourselves that know what is true. It is a place to experience what it feels like to be whole and in relationship at the same time, and to feel viscerally safe while doing so. Together we will work on reclaiming our secure attachment and finding the “no” within ourselves, trusting it, and letting it move out into the world with grace.

What to Expect:

In each 85-minute class, Sarah and Jaya will present and make connections across the most cutting edge relational neuroscience research into how language and the brain interact, and participants will practice these skills in Resonant Language breakouts. There will be support for all students to create and develop Resonant Practice Partnerships outside of class.

Together, we will:

  • Learn how different attachment styles shape our relationship with saying “no” (specifically avoidant, ambivalent, and disorganized)
  • Uncover and release unconscious contracts like “I will always say yes” or “I will not know that I have needs” or “I will only exist through service to others”
  • Work with the nervous system–especially the vagus nerve and the two hemispheres of the brain–to support ease, presence, and clarity
  • Practice a relational process called “I/You” language, which supports mutual awareness and allows both people to exist fully in the same moment

What You'll Learn Each Week:

Week 1: Boundaries, Disgust, and Attachment
Week 2: Releasing Unconscious Contracts To Never Say No
Week 3: Time Traveling to Reclaim Boundaries
Week 4: Ambivalent Attachment and Boundaries
Week 5: Avoidant Attachment and Boundaries
Week 6: How Disorganization Disrupts Our Edges
Week 7: I/You Language and Boundaries
Week 8: Reclaiming Our Secure Attachment and Our Boundaries

Who Is This Course For?

This course is for anyone who struggles with boundaries and longs to feel more ease, clarity, and warmth in saying “no.” This is for anyone ready to heal old attachment wounds and discover that boundaries—far from creating distance—can actually deepen intimacy, safety, and authentic connection.

This Course Includes Resonant Assistant Support

Assistant support is available during classes. There are three ways this happens:

  1. In groups of three with one assistant and two participants, so that participants can practice the breakout exercises with support.
  2. In small groups, with 1 assistant and 3+ participants, with work with one participant occurring by lottery, and the remaining participants observing.
  3. Depending on assistant availability, the third option is 1-1 support to receive resonant processes like time travel and unconscious contracts for material that comes up during class.
