Description
What has happened to the movement of my desire? What are the impacts of abuse and assault, and how can we work with that kind of history in ways that support nuanced healing without scaring the constellation circle? In the absence of any personal history of trauma, how can transgenerational trauma and political and systemic sexualized violence harm us? What family histories, loyalties, or transgenerational traumas may be shaping my sexuality and my desire?
Our constellation work in this module will allow us to differentiate our sexuality from ourselves and reorient to the healing that is necessary and available when shame subsides and we are able to find the opening path forward.
The relational neuroscience concepts that support this work include polyvagal theory and the nervous system impacts of receiving trauma in this or past generations.
