Description
Who is the first mother? Is she the first mother in your family line, the first mother in the human story, the first mother in the body, or the first presence who made life possible? What happens when we turn toward the origin of mothering itself?
Every nervous system begins in relationship. Before words, before identity, before conscious memory, there is the experience of being held or not held, welcomed or not welcomed, met or not met. The first mother may appear in constellation work as a biological reality, an archetypal presence, a maternal ancestor, the earth, the body, or the original movement of life toward life.
What To Expect
In this 85-minute exploration with Sarah Peyton, we will approach the first mother with tenderness, complexity, and respect. Participants who are facilitators will come away with more spaciousness for working with early attachment, maternal lineages, birth, nourishment, rupture, and the longing for an original welcome.
