Description
What land holds your family story? What happened in the places your people came from, lived on, fled from, farmed, crossed, lost, or claimed? How does the nervous system remember not only people, but place, even in the case of migrations that happened in previous generations?
Families are not supposed to exist outside of land. The ground we come from, and the ground we come to, carries narratives of nourishment, migration, violence, displacement, belonging,
burials, artificial borders, and homecomings. In constellation work, the land can appear as an essential participant in the family field, especially when histories of displacement, colonization, genocide, enslavement, exile, poverty, or ecological loss have shaped the system.
What To Expect
In this 85-minute webinar with Sarah Peyton, we will explore how Emergent Constellations can help us listen to the land beneath the family with respect and care. Participants will come away with new possibilities for including place, migration, and land-based memory in constellation work without appropriation or simplification. Participants who are facilitators will gain personal experience of what happens in constellations when the land is recognized and represented.
