My healing and professional path have been intertwined and multilayered over 30 plus years.
At the heart of working with others is my ongoing quest and dedication to always do my own inner healing work. I hope to always accompany others from a place of ever deepening humility, respect and compassion for our shared humanity in navigating relationships, losses and life’s unexpected turns. My joy is seeing people light up in connection with their truth, their essence and their greater emergence. I love it when we can laugh together in the midst of doing “serious” work. 🙂
As you can read on my website, many of life’s challenges and traumas became the doorways to my own healing and spiritual growth. Trauma, relationship loss and health issues in my mid-20’s propelled me into studying massage and many forms of somatic based healing methods. Relationship challenges brought me to Marshall Rosenberg, Robert Gonzales and many other wonderful NVC trainers. For many years I facilitated NVC practice groups for men, women and couples as well as coached people one to one. Seeing that trauma undermined both my and other’s ability to communicate in relationships, I sought out other trauma informed modalities. This brought me to TRE- Trauma Release Exercise System, Interpersonal Neurobiology and eventually Sarah Peyton. Grief recovery along has been a big part of my path with Sarah’s work.
I am a life long learner and am always seeking new ways of bringing levity along with compassion to myself and those I accompany. Recently, by the grace of an unexpected “curve ball” I got introduced to Clowning for Well BEing. Who knew an entire world of clowning exists for all manner of life affirming endeavors! The world is full of wonderful surprises!
