Scientist Stories: from Coral Reefs to Arctic and Antarctic Poles with Dr. Suchana Chavanich

Dr. Suchana Chavanich will speak about why we have to conserve marine ecosystems, and what are the current treats.  She will also give us an example on her efforts at coral reef protection working with the first group in Thailand to succeed in mass coral culture using sexual reproduction techniques. She will also tell the story of what she has seen in the field, from tropical to polar under a changing world.
