In preparation for these two classes, there are a few suggested pre-class activities.  As with anything, these are suggestions so that you will get the most out of the course, but everything is optional.

Suggested pre-class activities Session 1:

– Begin reading chapter 8 in the workbook
– Listen to the guided meditation, Holding Ambivalent Attachment – you can find the direct link to the audio by clicking on the name of the meditation. You can also download the free meditations here, and find the full list of meditations in your sign-up email. Listen as many times per week as you are willing or find helpful.
– Do the online attachment styles quiz: https://sarahpeyton.com/attachment-quiz/ (it’s the same one as on p.164-165 of the book)
– Do the journaling exercise: Journey Toward Earned Secure Attachment (p. 171)
– Only if it feels safe to you, do the Resonant Language Practice: Swearing and choose your favorite swear phrases from the list (p.175)

– Review your attachment styles quiz results, thinking about what you learned. If you haven’t taken it yet, you can take it here: https://sarahpeyton.com/attachment-quiz/ (it’s the same one as on p.164-165 of the book)
– Release one or more contracts connected to ambivalent or/and avoidant attachment
