For a long time, when people asked me how I felt, I didn’t really know. Even though I am a professional dancer, skilled at interpreting and expressing emotions on stage, I had learned as a child to disconnect from my own internal emotional landscape. This contributed to anxiety, overwhelm, heaviness, and disassociation.
My journey with resonant healing has transformed my relationship with my body and allowed me to regain my interior connection and intuitive knowing. It continues to be my go to resource for expanding my capacity to be with hard things and joyful things, while empowering my truth with an emotional balance.
Now I am able to offer this transformative experience to others. With warm accompaniment, I support others to decode body sensations and disentangle systemic, inter-generational and societal messaging to find their truth and experience the relief and clarity that comes from knowing yourself.
Clients tell me that I help them hold and be held in big feelings that have been too triggering and isolating when navigating alone. Clients also say a result of our sessions is the discovery of emergent possibilities that hadn’t even been on their radar screen.
I support those I work with to experience:
• A sense of relief
• Greater self- acceptance and self-generosity
• A growing sense of wholeness and integration through increased access to a kaleidoscope of feelings, including sadness/mourning, anger, and joy
• Increased access to genuine agency and sovereignty
Additionally, I offer monthly empathy/movement gatherings on Zoom, and I co-organize Radical Movement, a free monthly Zoom movement space for “everybody and every body,” originally created by Sonya Renee Taylor.
My pronouns are she/her and I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
“When it comes to resonance, Sasha has the nearest thing to perfect pitch in a practitioner that I’ve experienced. Sasha can catch a plummeting nervous system in a single graceful swoop of gesture, face and voice. Sasha is both incredibly gentle and incredibly fierce, she’s like a fire that both warms you and keeps the predators at bay. You feel her energy rising up in protective advocacy of you before you even presenced your heart’s lifetime longing for such a champion.” R, Canada
