Working with Family Secrets

February 27 @ 9:00 am - March 1 @ 3:00 pm PST

Cost: $1640

About the Event

Secrets live in the body. They carry weight even when we don’t have words for them. They travel across generations, shaping how we move, how we relate, and what we believe is possible. Some secrets were kept to protect someone. Others were born from silence, fear, or survival. All of them leave traces.
This master class is an invitation to work with what has been hidden in families: secrets, lies and half-truths. Together we will turn toward the places where stories break off or twist, the places where names go missing, and the places where shame hardens and where tenderness still waits to be felt. Through the lens of constellation work, we will sense into the deep patterns of secrecy and the longings that remain behind the silence.

We will spend time with themes that include:

  • Family secrets held in silence or half-truth
  • Shame carried through generations around abortion, exclusion, abuse, money, sex, and infidelity
  • Stories of migration, identity, queerness, and belonging that have been hidden or altered
  • Patterns of denial, protection, erasure, and emergence

This is not a space for exposure or disclosure. It is a space for attunement. We will practice listening to the field rather than trying to control it. We will follow what wants to move and learn how to accompany what needs more time.

Cost and How to Register

*PLEASE NOTE:

  • Your tuition payment is non-refundable (but it is transferable).
  • The course will be recorded for those who want to learn asynchronously for some or all sessions.
  • This work is not therapy and is not a substitute for therapy. If you have a sense that you would be destabilized by yourself or others speaking about difficult events, then this event may not be for you. While we hope that the processes and information that we share can be of use in your journey, we do not have the resources to support extreme psychological difficulties.
